Carbon mitigation consists of actions, measures, or activities aimed at reducing the sources of greenhouse gas emissions. In the case of AIKO^®, what we have done is quantify our CO2 emissions for the years 2021 and 2022, and subsequently acquired the corresponding carbon credits certified by the UN.

Carbon credits represent the reduction of greenhouse gases, including CO2. Companies, organizations, and even individuals acquire them to receive certificates that guarantee their contribution to climate change mitigation efforts.
